Nichiren Daishonin states in “Questions and Answers on Embracing the Lotus Sutra”:
I believe that embracing Myoho-Renge-Kyo, which ensures “peace and security in this lifetime and good circumstances in the next,” is the only honour to pursue in this lifetime and is the guide to maintain enlightenment in the future. Single mindedly chant Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and encourage others to do the same. This will remain as your only memory from this present human life.

宗祖日莲大圣人于《持妙法华问答抄》曰:
愿唯持“现世安稳，后生善处”之妙法，此乃今生之名闻后世之指引也。须一心奉唱南无妙法莲华经，我亦唱，亦劝他人唱，乃今生人界之回忆也。

Nichiren Daishonin states in “The Three Kinds of Treasure”:
More valuable than treasures in a storehouse are the treasures of the body, and the treasures of the heart are the most valuable of all. From the time you read this letter on, strive to accumulate the treasures of the heart!

Nichiren Daishonin states in “The True Entity of All Phenomena”:

Strive forth in the two ways of practice and study. If practice and study are neglected, then Buddhism will cease to exist. You should practise for yourself and lead others to this teaching. Both practice and study originate from faith. You must propagate to others with all your might, even if it is only a single sentence or phrase.

务必励行行学二道。行学若绝，不得有佛法矣。
我亦致力，亦当教化他人。行学乃由信心起。
若有力，即使一文一句，亦当为人言语矣。

Be diligent in developing your faith until the last moment of your life. Otherwise you will have regrets. For example, the journey from Kamakura to Kyoto takes twelve days. If you travel for eleven but stop on the twelfth, how can you admire the moon over the capital?

Nichiren Daishonin states in “On Chanting the Daimoku of the Lotus Sutra”:

In the Latter Day of the Law, there are many who lack the seed of Buddhahood, while few possess it. Thus, there is no doubt that the people will fall into the evil paths. Since they are going to fall into the evil paths one way or another, we should strongly teach and make them listen to the Lotus Sutra and let them form a poison-drum relationship with it. It is therefore certain that now is the time to create a reverse relationship by propagating the Lotus Sutra.

宗祖日莲大圣人于《唱法华题目抄》曰:

末代无善者多有善者少，故堕恶道之事无疑。因同堕恶道，应强说法华经，令其听闻，成毒鼓之缘。然当说法华经结谤缘之时节无争矣。

A bird that approaches Mount Sumeru will turn to gold. And the agada medicine renders poison into medicine. The same is true for the mystery of the Lotus Sutra. It turns common mortals into Buddhas.
